Melbourne floods Halloween

I haven't posted many photos lately, but I thought I'd start adding some more now that my camera is working a bit better.
This photo was taken in Wantirna South, in Melbourne's outer east (near the Dandenong Ranges) where we have a river/creek system winding through the area.
The water level had receded about 3 or 4 feet by the time I took this picture.
On either side of the photo (which is not visible) are houses which have been built on an original 'flood plain'. I guess the residents are counting their lucky stars at the moment that when the area was being established as a residential area, that the 'planners' decided to put in a huge aquaduct (which snakes throught the area) to assist with the drainage of any potential floods. So far it's worked.
